Since its launch in November 2015, the .earth web domain has focused on creating a unique place that unites like minds – whether it be brands or individuals – and allows them to promote their passions, causes, businesses, brands and stories for the overall betterment oflife for all.
During this time, the .earth web domain has evolved into a “tribe” that has expanded well-beyond green/environmental organizations. Today’s users include geospatial companies, trade organizations, travel companies, engineering firms, new technology innovators, authors, artists, holistic healers, and many more who care about the health of our planet..
As the specialized domain is about to embark its 9th anniversary next year, .earth has undergone a complete brand refresh with a new logo, along with new Domain.Earth and Voices.Earth websites.
The new brand refresh points to how humanity now fully is facing a global climate crisis. From massive heat waves to hurricanes to deadly wildfires, we are experiencing it on a scale we have never seen before.
We are clearly standing at a tipping point.
Our goal with the brand refresh is to articulate the .earth web domain’s mission of elevating brands and stories that are focused on the betterment of life for all. The .earth web domain is also all about helping our users to enhance their brands and effectively communicate their missions of fighting climate change.
The new Voices.Earth web site will continue to be our content foundation that showcases stories about our happy users, podcasts, as well as key global trends that reinforce the value of the .earth domain for prospective users.
In addition to a new and streamlined look and feel for both websites, we are also developing updated registrar resources on Domain.Earth to help new and current registrar partners best articulate the true value of .earth.
We would like to thank all of the member of our passionate .earth domain tribe for getting us to where we are today! We look forward to collectively working together to ensure a brighter future for our planet and all of its inhabitants.
